About me

I have been making furniture for nearly 20 years, creating new pieces for both private and public clients.

My aim is to create pieces that are beautiful and made for everyday use. I design my furniture to have visual and physical integrity, elegance and strength.  I am interested in the way light plays across the shape of a piece and how it will look from different angles. Clean lines, subtle details and considered proportions are all key elements in my work.

Working with sustainable British and European timbers, I carefully select the timber for each part of a piece, using its natural patterns to support the overall design. I combine the best of traditional and modern techniques to hand craft each piece in my North Cornish workshop.
