Description: My client lives in an old converted school house with the original panelling on the walls. I wanted something which felt elegant and feminine, refined and gentle. The sides and top of the table pick up on the formality and strong vertical lines of the tongue and groove panelling. The curves of the drawer fronts break up this formality giving the piece a more feminine feel whilst also echoing the soft folds of the curtains, which hang to the left hand side of the piece.
