Last week I delivered an extending table made in solid European Oak. Instead of using an off-the-shelf table mechanism, I built my own one out of wood. It caused a few sleepless nights and no small amount of head scratching but I am really pleased with results. I will be putting it on the web site in a few days. In the meantime, here is an image of the table opened up ready for the leaf to be put in.
