Public Projects

Well designed furniture transforms public spaces, providing places to linger, pause and rest.

At Christian O’Reilly, we design and make bespoke furniture for public spaces. Recent award-winning projects include the seating for the Royal Albert Memorial Museum in Exeter and the new furniture for St Aubyn’s church, Plymouth.

We are passionate about making beautiful and affordable furniture for public use, and designing pieces to suit your brief, timescale and budget. Whilst we love designing specifically for your space we are also happy to remake existing designs.

We make all our furniture in the UK and build it to last and withstand heavy use in public settings. We take care to ensure that our furniture is accessible to all in society: the young, the old and those with disabilities.

As well as working directly for our clients, we also work with architects and design companies to develop their concepts for a space.
